Your feet take a lot of pressure and movement every day. Ankle or foot pain, bruising, weakness, severe swelling, or reduced ability to move may indicate that you have an ankle or foot injury, and in some cases, both. FUTURO™ Braces and Supports for Ankle and Foot can provide effective pain relief without restraining your movement. They help reduce symptoms by providing stabilisation and compression to the affected area to reduce swelling, prevent fluid collection, and alleviate joint stiffness and ankle pain. Other benefits and features include:
Otherwise known as twisted ankle or rolled ankle.
Ankle sprains happen when the strong ligaments supporting your ankle stretch beyond their limits and tear. It’s one of the most common sports injuries, particularly in sports that require a lot of moving, such as basketball, tennis, squash, and football. This unintentional twisting and rolling motion and ankle pain can also happen when you step off an uneven surface or slip on wet roads or ice.
Arthritis is inflammation of one or more of your joints and it affects how your joints work. Ankle Arthritis occurs when the cartilage that connects the bones in your ankle joint, rub together — leading to pain, stiffness, loss of movement, and can hinder your daily activities.
Plantar fasciitis is a condition where your main arch ligament (plantar fascia), which connects your heel bone to your toes, becomes inflamed and causes severe pain—usually when you take your first steps in the morning. You may develop plantar fasciitis if you stand for long hours working in a factory, departmental store, or restaurant. Other risk factors include obesity, lack of exercise, or having structural foot problems, such as very high arches or very flat feet.
Otherwise known as Achilles tendinopathy.
Too much strain on the Achilles tendon, the band of tissue linking your calf muscles to your heel bone, can lead to Achilles tendinitis. The pain begins as a mild ache in the back of the leg or above the heel. It is common in sports that involve lunging and jumping; it also affects those who abruptly increase the intensity of their running programs.
