3M™ Polyester Tape 850 meets demanding applications commonly found in the graphic arts, photography, metal finishing and electronic industries. It is available in various colors as well as a transparent option that blends well with web stock. It features a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and a high tensile strength backing.

Thin and Powerful

Our 3M™ Polyester Film Tape 850 is generally used for splicing and web applications. The backing is a thin, high tensile strength polyester which is abrasion resistant to help reduce failures while resisting break downs during rough handling and web handling stresses. With good chemical and solvent resistance, the tape helps reduce rejects produced from chemical and solvent attacks. It also meets low-caliper requirements to ensure it won't interfere with most machinery. The tape can withstand a wide temperature range from -60°F/-50°C to 300°F/148°C. A pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive grabs on contact and holds securely.
