It ensures a pliable, tight seal for jacketed concentric neutral and concentric neutral power cables. The conjunction of high dielectric-constant material and silicone rubber insulation allow the termination to withstand voltages from 5 to 15 kV.

3M™ Scotch® 5700 Series Tape Termination Kit includes semi-conducting tape 13, high-voltage splicing tape 130C, Super 33+ vinyl electrical tape, electrical stress control tape 2220 and 3 mechanical ground straps. It also contains 3 solvent-saturated cleaning pads, a strip of aluminum oxide abrasive cloth and instructions. IEEE Approved.
