3M™ Scrim Reinforced Adhesive Tape L1+RT is a 3.2 mil adhesive tape with a reinforced scrim carrier for dimensional stability. It is recommended for applications such as lamination to many open and closed cell foams.
The L1+RT uses the L1 adhesive platform, a modified acrylic, for good quick stick, peel, and shear to many open and closed cell foam materials. The scrim-reinforced carrier provides dimensional stability during lamination, but allows adhesive to flow through the scrim to maximize adhesion to rough, open cell surfaces. It offers more conformability to contoured surfaces than a double coated polyester adhesive tape
