Developed specifically for attaching interior and exterior trim and other parts to automotive substrates, our 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape GT7106 features a .6 mm acrylic foam core with acrylic adhesive applied to both sides. This tape is designed for excellent performance under a wide variety of temperature changes. The acrylic adhesive is formulated for high final adhesion as well as great peel and shear strength when applied to a range of automotive surfaces including traditional paints. The viscoelastic foam core delivers excellent conformability even during shrinkage and elongation caused by temperature changes. It is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads and maintains bond-line aesthetics under normal stress loads. The inconspicuous gray color of 3M AFT GT7106 helps ensure high satisfaction among consumers. This tape features a translucent red polyethylene liner for easy one-piece release.
